Vibrant love & color, color, color.

I have been very excited to share Nilam + Vishal’s wedding! Their entire 3 day Indian Wedding in St. Louis, MO was my dream come true. For me, as a wedding photojournalist, photography is alllll about the moments… the photos that make you feel something when you look at them, photos that authentically reflect your wedding as it was… the deep joy, laughter, tears, heart-full hugs, the dancing!! Nilam and Vishal’s story is bursting at the seams with so many love-filled moments, color and beauty… it’s magic was an enormous honor to behold and capture.

Love is a Home.

As your wedding day draws near, what are the things that represent your unique relationship… who you are and what you love most? I always enjoy hearing about them because it is important to me to make a few photos on your wedding day that will always serve as an anchor to ***this moment*** in your lives.

For Megan and Dave, one of the most significant reflections of this node in their journey is the home they are renovating together. “The Building” is in it’s early stages, and at first they weren’t considering doing pictures there, aside from Dave’s getting ready with his groomsmen. When I mentioned the idea though, they wholeheartedly agreed it would be important down the road. So before the ceremony we made the quick stop by their house to say hello to their precious lady, Callie, and make some portraits of their family of 3. No doubt, these images will forever preserve the early days of committing their love and building their foundations. <3

It was also Megan’s beautiful Grandma Margaret’s 98th birthday.
