Ellen + Jeff | Engagement

Fall photo engagement sessions are the BEST!!!  I love getting to spend a beautiful day photographing and getting to know my beautiful couples.  Ellen and Jeff are tying the knot next June at St. George’s Church in Affton, MO, with their reception following at the Zoo’s Lakeside Pavilion.  For their engagement session we decided to make the trek to Faust Park to take advantage of the last of the fall colors.  And that we did!!!  Check out some of my favorite pics and be sure to see the bottom of this post for a little get to know you on Ellen and Jeff.

Q.    How did you guys meet?

We met playing Sand Volleyball up at Concord Bowling Lanes. We met in April, but didn’t go on our first date until August. Our first date was the the County Fair and Air Show. My dad was an airline pilot before he passed away, and when we were younger he used to always take my sister and I to airshows. I think its really  cool that that is where Jeff and my first date was.

Q.    How long have you been together?

A little over 3 years.

Q.     How did Jeff propose?

Jeff proposed at the City Garden in front of my entire family.  It was late at night and all the lights were on there.  It was awesome-very magical 🙂

Q.    What about your wedding day are you most excited for?

I’m most excited to make the commitment of marriage to Jeff and that I will be able to share the special day with all my family. Family is really important to me so it means a lot that they will all be there to witness our marriage and help us celebrate!
